JOURNEY TO
THE CROSS
We have put together a weekly devotional for families with young children to prepare and journey towards Easter. As we approach Holy Week, which includes Palm Sunday through to Easter Sunday, the devotional will follow a similar format including a quick video from a familiar face, discussion questions, some hands-on activities and a prayer.

CURRENT SERMON SERIES
"THRIVE"
To thrive: "to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances" (Merriam-Webster).
Are you into New Year’s resolutions? A new year, a new opportunity, a new start? Good for you! But as you set your goals and make plans you also know, you have no control over your circumstances. Just think of 2020. Who could have foreseen the impact of COVID 19 on your life? You do, however, have control over your responses to unpredictable circumstances. Your responses can be either reactionary or they can be anchored in a deep trust in God. The apostle Peter addresses first century Christ-followers who experienced constant harassment, slander and abuse from their neighbors and friends. By reminding them of their faith and its implications he encouraged them to thrive despite of their challenges. Let’s listen to Peter’s ancient letter over the next several weeks and discover how we can thrive in 2021.
